Unexpected Guests
…is my collaboration with Ira B Liss Big Band Jazz Machine. It's a concept album featuring eleven world-class musical artists you would not expect to record with a classic 17 piece Jazz Orchestra. I composed original compositions to feature each artist with the band, or in some cases, adapted an existing piece from the artist into a Big Band Jazz arrangement. We then went into the studio to record “live” with the artists and the full band.
